Antique Market Bismarckhöhe

The Bismarckhöhe mountain inn used to include guest rooms, terraces, a bowling alley, verandas, a kitchen, and a cellar. There was a small fruit wine press, orchards, many rooms for staff and guests, as well as vehicles, carts, and a boat landing. After its heyday from 1893 to 1943, it faced nearly six decades of misuse and vacancy. It seemed that the story of the legendary Bismarckhöhe in Werder had come to an end. Now under municipal ownership, recognized and protected as a monument, the beginning of a successful new second chapter in the history of Bismarckhöhe has become possible with its revival. The large hall offers space for many festivities, and for the first time, a flea market will take place here.
