The Nabu Dümmer is showing the award-winning film in Quernheim. It addresses the destruction of our environment and the decline of species. Director Sönje Strom presents in this film the estate of farmer Jürgen Marth, 1882 to 1940. He was her great-grandfather, and during World War I, he was trained as a photographer in aerial reconnaissance. From 1919 onwards, he observed the ongoing destruction of fragile ecosystems such as wetlands and the decline of species.
