Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. There’s just one thing she absolutely dislikes: going to bed! So her parents are astonished when Anouk suddenly goes to bed full of excitement in the evening. What they don’t know is that every night, a magical door opens for Anouk to a world full of fantasy and adventure. She experiences thrilling adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, overcomes challenges in the jungle, and meets colorful characters at the fair. Along the way, she makes new friendships and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations. When she tells her parents about her nightly adventures the next day, they always say, "Sweetheart, you just dreamed all of that!" But Anouk has "evidence" that this is not the case.
