Cycling on the Burgenland Trails

On March 21, 2026, the cycling path in Langeck will be officially opened at 9:00 AM, followed by a joint ride to Lockenhaus. At 10:00 AM, the official start signal for the event "Cycling on the Burgenland Trails" will be given at Burgsee Lockenhaus. Visitors can look forward to a varied program centered around mountain biking.

At 10:00 AM, the cycling event will also kick off on the railway path from Bad Tatzmannsdorf towards Rechnitz (shuttle buses will return to Bad Tatzmannsdorf at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM). Throughout the day, a free shuttle service will be available, operating between Lockenhaus Burgsee, Rechnitz Badesee, and Passhöhe Ranch. A special highlight will be the grand opening of the newly established restaurant at Badesee Rechnitz: "Tiffany am See" at 12:00 PM.

For the youngest guests, a children's event will take place at the pump track in Rechnitz from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Additionally, the Rechnitz Nature Park invites everyone to the soft opening of the climbing facility, as well as archery and canoeing. Admission is free for all visitors.
