Wadden Sea in Transition - The Flora & Fauna of the Wadden in the Face of Climate Change

Climate change is altering our world – and with it, the unique UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of the Wadden Sea. Animals such as the lugworm and the heart clam are facing new challenges and must adapt to the changing conditions. But what does this mean for the ecology of the Wadden Sea? Accessibility note: At the National Park House, you can rent a Wadden mobility vehicle, which allows people with limited mobility to participate in the mudflat hike (please register your needs by phone in advance). The National Park House Wurster North Sea Coast is certified by "Travel for All." It is barrier-free accessible, and a disabled-friendly toilet is available.
