Lunch Concert: WS Ensemble

Young Ensembles in Competition Program Discover the Possibilities! The surprisingly colorful spectrum of a formation that actually contains "only" a recorder as the solo voice is explored by the WS Ensemble through selected compositions by Telemann, Vivaldi, C.P.E. Bach, and others. Participants Jan Fuß Recorder, Bassoon & Direction Rebecca Krieg Cello Christian Velasco Vazquez Theorbo Sergio Flores Harpsichord The midday concert series featuring promising newcomers in Early Music guarantees original program ideas and high musical proficiency. The four best among the 21 applicants compete for the favor of the audience and the jury's prize, chaired by Dorothee Oberlinger: a concert at the Music Festival 2027. Last year's winners Il Concerto Intempestivo will present their brand new program on June 13 in the Raffaelsaal of the Orangerieschloss Sanssouci. And of course, the four ensembles will again spread out to schools and daycare centers, providing young ears with Early Music. Doors open at 12:45 PM Enjoy approximately 60 minutes of music.
