Impressionism – Masterpieces from the Hasso Plattner Collection

The Barberini Museum in Potsdam permanently showcases the extensive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings of the museum's founder, Hasso Plattner: With 115 masterpieces by 23 artists such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Alfred Sisley, Camille Pissarro, Henri-Edmond Cross, and Paul Signac, the collection presents French landscape painting in a uniquely coherent and comprehensive manner. With 40 paintings by Claude Monet, there are no more works by this artist in one place outside of Paris anywhere else in Europe.
