5th Lübbener Winter Gallery Open Air

This winter season, illustrations by Felix Matschke are on display in the windows of the Tourist Information on Schlossinsel. Under the motto "Favorite Places - 12 Perspectives on Lübben," he illustrates special locations and characteristics in celebration of the double anniversary. Featured are well-known places such as the Paul-Gerhardt Church and the Neuhaus, as well as some surprising spots like "Behind HEM," the Lübben/City Fire Department, and even the new SpreeLagune bridge. The 12 original works will be auctioned off in a silent auction. Bidding is anonymous, using a bidder number. At the closing event on February 27, the highest bidder will be awarded the works. The proceeds will support the creation of an art calendar featuring the 12 motifs for 2027. Felix Matschke (1989) from Cottbus, an architect and freelance illustrator, looks from Zurich at his homeland Lausitz, a region undergoing landscape and architectural change.
