"Spark Sisters – How Feminism Makes Everything Better!"

Barbara Blaha knows what she is talking about. Growing up as the child of a working-class family with many siblings but little money, she understands the feeling of being overlooked. Her previous stage programs have been an overwhelming success: thousands have already seen her, and every performance was sold out.

In her new program "Spark Sisters" and the book of the same name, she combines personal stories with numbers, facts, and studies, showing why economic issues are always feminist issues as well. She makes it clear why women are less likely to lead, more often interrupted, and paid less. She points out that in industries with a high percentage of women, wages decrease, and even a full-time job does not protect against the second unpaid shift at home.

The proceeds from the event and book sales will go entirely to the Momentum Institute.
