What’s swimming there? - Excursion

Equipped with a net and microscope, you can explore the aquatic world independently and search for water scorpions, small crustaceans, or red-bellied toads - a tour for the whole family. There is plenty to discover both in and under the water! Many birds can be found swimming and wading in the waters of the national park - but what do they actually eat? You can find out just that during this family excursion! Because: in the murk of Lake Neusiedl and the ponds lies a diverse underwater world. Price per person: Adults € 16.00, Children € 8.00;

Registration is required by 4 PM the day before. Booking online at: http://www.nationalparkneusiedlersee.at Equipment: Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing (sun, rain, and wind protection), water bottle. The tour takes place in all weather conditions. The national park reserves the right to adapt the content of the tour flexibly and to adjust it to the respective weather conditions. Meeting point: National Park Center Illmitz. From here, appropriate excursion points can be reached by car (own car not strictly necessary), but the excursion will generally take place on foot.
