The multilingual French singer Marion Lenfant-Preus and the Polish guitarist Alexander "Sobo" Sobocinski have been pursuing the idea of creating music without labels and for a cross-generational and cross-cultural audience for many years. World music with heart! The band sounds stylistically vibrant, blending Gypsy jazz, rumba, Balkan, and chanson influences, along with acrobatic solos and jazzy scat singing. Their own compositions, as well as new interpretations of old classics, are skillfully "transformed into the here and now," according to "JAzzpodium," sometimes featuring Marion's own lyrics. With musical charm, humor, and lightness, their current CD features songs in French, English, Spanish, Romani, and German.
