A Walk with Robert Walser with Texts by Robert Walser
The Swiss writer Robert Walser is a world poet, translated into around 40 languages. His interest seems not to lie in grand interpretations of the world, but rather in the seemingly small things at the edges of existence. It is there, at the margins, that his poetic walks take place, of which Susan Sontag said they transform "obsessively time into space."
Whoever walks as curiously and humbly as Walser explores nothing less than the entirety of life. Following in Walser's footsteps, we discover the delicate beauty of existence - but the abyss is not spared from us.
