Valentinumplatz 1, 4300 St. Valentin

In addition to his band performances, the Upper Austrian singer-songwriter is also on tour with his unplugged program. Together with his congenial partner and pianist, Markus Marageter, who also picks up the acoustic guitar for some songs, Ahamer creates a groovy sound carpet with plenty of space for his down-to-earth dialect lyrics. The duo weaves a musical thread that ranges from earthy soul tunes to gritty blues songs to breathtaking ballads. Virtuoso guitar grooves, excellent piano playing, and a distinctive, smoky voice are the ingredients from which the two musicians serve a resonant dish that meets the highest standards of both gourmet critics and music fans in its finest moments. With "steh auf" and "zuwa," Ahamer has released two albums featuring wonderfully soulful songs that blend funk and fingerpicking, which remain unaffected by the mainstream and have since enriched the playlists of numerous Austrian and Bavarian radio stations.
