Guided tour of the monastery complex (duration: approx. 1 hour) Medieval history usually focuses on rulers, their deeds, and their military campaigns. The noblewomen at their side remain in the shadows. Yet they had a particular influence on courtly life and helped the Staufer dynasty achieve the highest esteem. This tour brings these strong women to light, telling their stories and explaining their significance. If you look closely, you can find traces of Agnes of Waiblingen, Beatrice of Burgundy, and Irene of Byzantium at Lorch Monastery, bringing these women closer to us once again.
