Ben Westphal is the pseudonym of a crime author from Hamburg who also works as a criminal investigator in the Hamburg drug squad. In August 2020, he published his first Hamburg crime novel "Ich war Bulle" ("I Was a Cop"). Since then, his fourth novel in the series featuring protagonists Gerd Sehling and Tim Dombrowski has been released. He shares insights into his career and daily work, providing fascinating glimpses into the operations of the Hamburg drug squad, and reads from the four volumes of his "Bulle" crime series.
