Rocks + Water Stair Hike

We hereby invite you to a very special tour, where we will explore the Elbe Sandstone Mountains of Saxon Switzerland together on adventurous paths and by water. We will climb high peaks, enjoy fantastic views, and you will learn many interesting things about the nature, culture, and history of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

TOUR DETAILS – Key Points:
- Exciting stairway hiking and paddling tour
- Moderately difficult hiking tour of approximately 10 km in length, involving ladders and steep stairs, plus about 1.5 to 2.0 hours of paddling

Our services for you:
- Guided tour with a local guide, including an exciting paddling tour on the Elbe
- Information about nature, culture, and history

Requirements for participants:
- Normal fitness level, sure-footedness, and freedom from dizziness required
- Suitable for sure-footed and enduring children aged 10 and above
- Hiking experience: over 10 kilometers in length
- Climbing experience: steep stairs

Important notes:
- Minimum participants: 5 people – if this number is not reached, we will offer a guided stairway hike without the rafting tour for the following day after further consultation and refund the corresponding difference.
- There are no refreshment options along the route
- Self-catering necessary (drinks + sufficient food)
- Hiking clothing is advantageous but not necessary
- We require sturdy, profiled footwear

- Partner ticket: 63 EUR per person (2 people)

Registration deadline: the day before by 12 PM

Cancellation policy:
- Generally free cancellation possible up to 9 days before the tour starts
- 30% compensation withheld from 9 to 3 days before the tour
- No cancellation possible within 72 hours before the tour starts
- Exception: certified illness

Goodwill: in case of bad weather

Final notes:
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants on the day of the tour due to inadequate equipment or suitability for the tour. The organizer also reserves the right to cancel the tour due to bad weather. In both cases, the participation fee will be refunded. Refunds for any additional costs incurred by the participant for travel, accommodation, equipment, etc., are excluded, provided these services were not also arranged by the organizer for the participant. The organizer has special liability insurance for damages caused by participants. Nevertheless, participation in the advertised tours is fundamentally at one's own risk, which is why every participant should have comprehensive private accident insurance.
