Day Trip: "Discovering the Slow Life" Just past Breisach, we turn into the Rhine Side Canal and pass through the impressive Vogelgrün lock system. As we head south, enjoying magnificent views of the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, we pass through three more locks. You’ll enjoy lunch on board during the cruise. We will soon reach the beautiful old Swiss city of Basel with its Three-Country Corner and harbor facilities. We will dock at the middle Rhine bridge, not far from downtown. This stop invites you to take a stroll through the city and explore Basel’s sights. After an eventful day, we will return to Breisach by bus. Registration required! Departure from Breisach: 8:00 a.m. Arrival in Basel: approx. 4:00 p.m. Departure from Basel Dufourstraße by bus: 7:00 p.m. Includes lunch on board Optional breakfast
