At the heart of this moving and musically high-quality evening are songs that continue to captivate with their unmistakable and poetic character. The two lead actors bear a striking resemblance to their idols and interpret the works with skill and great respect, accompanied by a five-member band. The show traces the early musical steps of the two New York boys through their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s, leading up to their separation in 1970. The highlight is the legendary reunion at the concert in Central Park in 1981 in front of more than half a million fans. Large projections with carefully selected photos and video material convey the moods of the time and bring special moments of their success story back to the stage.
