Markus Hirtler worked for over 20 years as a nurse, nursing service manager, home director, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for those who are often not heard in our "society of aging disposal." The award-winning cabaret artist portrays the nursing home resident with affection, depth, and great empathy.
