Something is rotten in the state of Denmark! Just a few weeks ago, the old King Hamlet unexpectedly died in his sleep - bitten by a snake, as it is said - when his brother Claudius has already married the deceased's wife and ascended the throne. Prince Hamlet, the son of the old king, is confronted with a fait accompli, and now a ghost also wanders at night, reporting something dreadful: "The snake that bit your father fatally, she now wears his crown." The revelation of fratricide is immediately followed by a call for revenge, which Hamlet is to carry out. Caught in a web of scruples, duty, and courtly intrigue, condemned to inaction, the young prince tries to find his way - with potentially deadly consequences.

Set up for the box and reduced to its essence, Shakespeare's famous revenge tragedy HAMLET, directed by Lisa-Maria Cerha, is presented with only four performers, without losing its power.
