Bernhard Viktorin presents his current cabaret program "Something with People" in Laakirchen – a humorous, musical, and at the same time thought-provoking solo about the small and big questions of modern life. "What do you want to do when you grow up?" – "Something with people," Viktorin said as a child. Later, it became "Something with computers." Today, he asks himself what is actually more annoying: talking to people or chatting with a bot. With fine wit, a clear perspective, and a good dose of self-irony, he examines topics such as generational conflicts, nutrition, leisure, smartphones, climate, traffic, and dating – hitting the pulse of the times. He remains musical throughout: self-written songs on the piano and ukulele complement his pointed observations, making the evening a charming and lively experience. His first program was already awarded four cabaret prizes, and "Something with People" is also very well received by the audience – with sold-out evenings at the Vienna Orpheum and Casanova. Bernhard Viktorin is an artist with great stage experience, a lot of charm, and a keen sense for interpersonal relationships. In line with the cultural department's mission, which continually brings exciting, yet not widely known cabaret artists to Laakirchen, he is a wonderful discovery – and as a good friend of Klaus Eckel, one might say: If that’s not a good omen!
