Waltz and Polka III - Pyrmont Blend

The Wiener Melange, the Austrian cappuccino variant, has given its name to this new format. Just as the right mix of coffee, milk, and foam makes the difference in a Melange, in the concerts it is the blend of waltzes, polkas, and songs that matters. In the program "Waltzes & Polkas III," you will hear dance, opera, and operetta music from Frédéric Chopin to Robert Stolz: Included are, among others, the overture to "The Water Carrier" by Luigi Cherubini, "A Song Resonates Within Me" by Frédéric Chopin, the concert waltz "At Our Home" by Johann Strauss, the "Boccaccio March" by Franz von Suppé, and "An Evening with Robert Stolz." The salon orchestra arrangements come from the archive of the state spa. The performers are Stephan Gimenez and Katharina Kunzendorf on violin, Iwona Tatarczyk on cello, and Thomas Wypior on piano.
