"JUBILARIANS of MUSIC 2026" - The SÜDHARZER BRASS QUARTET performs for the Cultural Forum Bad Sachsa in the Kurhaus.

Some of these well-known names will be particularly fondly remembered this year. The occasion could be the "milestone birthdays" of these musicians and composers, as well as commemorations on the anniversary of their death. In 2026, it is fitting to remember several very different masters of serious and entertainment music, such as Giuseppe Verdi, whose death will be commemorated for the 125th time, Carl Maria von Weber, whose life ended 200 years ago, but also Louis Armstrong, whose birth will be celebrated for the 125th time, Neil Diamond, who will celebrate his 85th birthday this year, Freddie Mercury, who would have turned 80 this year, or Peter Alexander, who could have celebrated his 100th birthday in June. The SÜDHARZER BLÄSER-QUARTETT will pay tribute to these and other famous figures from the music world when the "JUBILARS of MUSIC 2026" are brought to life at the Kurhaus in Bad Sachsa. The concert on Saturday, April 18, 2026, will begin at 3:00 PM and will present a very diverse range of music. The performers will be Ulrich Kohlrusch and Ernst Herold (flügelhorn and trumpet), Rüdiger Ott (tuba), and Walter Ziegler (tenor horn), who will also be responsible for the music arrangements, direction, and moderation. The concert is organized by the "Kulturforum Bad Sachsa," which contributes to a culturally diverse and vibrant Bad Sachsa with its events. The Kursaal will open at 2:30 PM. Admission to this concert is free, but friendly donations for the work of the Kulturforum are very welcome.
