Oh, does that mean that STROBL&SOKAL are now 100 years old?
No, because the two of them together are already 123 years old in 2023.
Of course, but they have been performing together for 100 years.
Well, the comedy duo does have that much stage experience together, but in this formation, they have been around since the year 2000 – so that's 22 years (although their 20th anniversary was overshadowed by the pandemic – so they are celebrating it in 2023!)
Okay, and why 100 years then?
Because the program includes works from Hermann Leopoldi from the 1920s, through Pirron and Knapp, Bronner/Qualtinger, or Georg Kreisler from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, all the way to current material from STROBL&SOKAL today!
