THE PROFESSOR AND THE WOLF – An Evening with Peter Filzmaier & Armin Wolf

Armin is older than Peter, but he still studied with Peter. And he discovered him in the lecture hall for television. Since then, they have often talked to each other there. So often that many people suspect Peter might be living under the table in the ZiB2 studio. This has never been officially denied.

On television, they talk about politics. Never about sports. Yet Peter knows almost more about sports than about politics. Armin finds it a mystery how anyone can be interested in sports at all. Except for curling. But Peter despises that. On stage, they will still talk a little about sports, but mainly about politics and politicians, about television, about audience questions, and about each other. As always, quite quickly.

One visitor once summarized "The Professor and the Wolf" like this: "It was... funny! But not a cabaret! Exciting! But not a crime story! Educational! But not a lecture! Entertaining! But not a sitcom!" And a female visitor added: "So good it makes you want to kneel, entertaining, informative, a bit wicked (not too much) – simply hilarious and well-founded."
