His current project "Artifact" also marks a kind of reinvention. The album unfolds a cinematic sound world where orchestral arrangements meet electronic samples and modern beats. Inspirations range from silent film masters to pop art and 80s synth sounds, and the music oscillates between euphoria and melancholy, familiar harmonies and surprising, darkly threatening moments.
