For sky watchers, one of the most beautiful times of the year is now beginning: The meteor shower of the Perseids is on its way and promises to be an impressive spectacle in the night sky once again. Those who look to the northeast in the coming weeks have a good chance of spotting numerous shooting stars. The new observation platform "Umlaufblick" offers optimal conditions far from artificial light sources.

Experience nature at night with National Park Ranger Bernhard Schedlmayer and let yourself be enchanted by the "tears of Laurentius," as the shooting stars are also commonly known. An astronomer will introduce you to the art of stargazing and share interesting facts about constellations and planets.
