Altenmarkt Krampus Run

Krampus Run Altenmarkt 2025 - the legend is back and Aftershow Party for 25 years of Zauch Teufel in the Festhalle:
On December 5, 2025, a Krampus run will take place in the town center after years of hiatus. The invited Krampus groups will gather at the public municipal parking lot and will parade one after the other through Michael-Walchhofer Street to the lower Markstraße and towards Zauchenseestraße. The Altenmarkt Perchten group will kick off the event, meeting at the municipal office after their house visits and traditionally starting the run at 8:00 PM. Following them, another 24 traditional Krampus groups from the surrounding communities will make their appearances. The Krampus run will be accompanied by a speaker who will introduce each group. Immediately after the Krampus run, an Aftershow Party will be held in the Festhalle in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Zauch Teufel. Two local DJs will get the guests fired up, and the numerous members, friends, and families of the Zauch Teufel will provide drinks for everyone. The legend is back.
