Hohensalzburg Bites: "Gold, Shine, Graffiti"

Are you interested in the fortress, but perhaps have been there a time or two? The new recurring event format "Hohensalzburger Häppchen" explores different aspects of the fortress in a relaxed atmosphere and invites an interested audience to an informative discussion, a tour through selected areas, as well as a small "bite" in the morning. This time, the focus is on the magnificent Gothic prince's rooms, which have experienced a tumultuous fate over their more than 500-year existence: from the representative splendor of their creation, lavish celebrations, to the plundering during the Napoleonic era, their use as an officers' casino, the art-historical rediscovery, and the current extensive restorations.
