Hohensalzburg Bites: Wonderful Crests

Are you interested in the fortress but have perhaps been there a time or two before? The new recurring event format "Hohensalzburger Häppchen" explores different aspects of the fortress in a relaxed atmosphere and invites an interested audience to an informative discussion, a tour through selected areas, and a small "snack" in the morning. This time, the numerous coats of arms of the fortress, which date from the late Middle Ages to the Baroque period, will be the focus. They can be found everywhere on Hohensalzburg, providing eloquent testimony about construction activities and representation, and are also extremely fascinating from heraldic and art historical perspectives.
