Lantern parade to Hohensalzburg Fortress

The night at Hohensalzburg Fortress has always had a very special atmosphere. We invite children with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to join us for a small lantern parade up to the fortress. Bring your own lanterns with electric lighting, and we will walk up together. Along the way, we will sing songs and listen to stories. To conclude, there will be children's punch in the courtyard to warm up and recharge.

Please make sure to use only lanterns with electric lights (no open flames!). Please note that the footpath to the fortress (about 100 meters in elevation) can be steep and slippery in places. Please wear suitable footwear and warm clothing!
