"REBELS! The Black Peasants of Weiberau - Their Motives and Fates in the Upper Austrian Peasant War"
Cons. Mag. Irene and her consort Christian Keller researched the events surrounding the Upper Austrian Peasant Wars in our region. The results of their foundational research form the basis of this year's exhibition at Schloss Starhemberg. The lecture aims to illuminate the historical events of this time and is also intended as an introduction to the exhibition visit.

Focus: Caretaker Finckh, Achaz Wiellinger, the Battle of Kornrödt, the Weiberau Camp…
The special exhibition runs from May 9 to October 26, 2026.
