Steyr Christmas Market Promenade

Since 1998, the atmospheric Christkindlmarkt has been held on the Steyr promenade. Around 30 exhibitors will delight you with culinary treats - bratwurst, traditional wooden worker dumplings, raclette bread, Ischler gingerbread, potato curls, waffles, pine schnapps, and of course, mulled cider, punch, and mulled wine cannot be missed.

In addition, Christmas gift items are also offered: wicker goods, arrangements, hats, caps, honey and honey products, beeswax candles, wallets,...

The Steyr Christkindlmarkt has a heart for children. While moms and dads browse and consider which gifts to choose for their loved ones, our little visitors can enjoy a "flight" on the Christmas plane, ride the children's carousel, or take a trip on the charming children's train. Additionally, there is a unique opportunity for the little visitors to meet the Christkind in person at this market!

Among the stalls, familiar fairy tale characters can be discovered. In a craftsman's hut, you can not only taste the typical "dumplings" of the forest and timber workers but also watch how traditional wooden shingles are made.
