Nikolai Medvedev, a lecturer at the famous Gnessin Institute, who left Moscow due to the invasion of Ukraine, is providing a swinging conclusion to the season by combining classical works by Haydn and Mendelssohn Bartholdy with jazzy compositions by Schulhoff, Kapustin, and Gershwin (the latter in transcriptions by Earl Wild).
