Nino from Vienna writes: what an EP. wild times. I will never forget it. everything in the room. freezing, heating, flashing. window lying. 7th district. almost downtown Vienna. it’s been 5 weeks, but I think it’s more like 4 months. as it sounds now, that’s how it was. Manu captured it perfectly. he really engaged with it. wrote songs in January. all in January 2025. with some time and operations. with trips to the basement. with strolling. scraps of paper in our pockets. we all learned something. the first song is absolutely my favorite song. my favorite since Taxi Driver, at least. never done anything like it. the second came to me like a dove. when I was already wanting to go home one night. fits. the third one about addiction... my grandparents always said: "addiction is a dog." exciting characters. the fourth song was written on the same day as the second. that’s rare. out with you! it’s spring-like! it’s great to make an EP after 19 albums. a cool format. like a short story. a good quarter of an hour, that’s how long you usually stand at Tichy. I can listen to it myself. love the sound. I have a connection to all the songs. long days and nights that passed quickly. time flows. a cohesive thing. I enjoyed telling the story. sitting, standing, and walking. I thank Pedro, my room cactus, for his silent presence. if he didn’t like the music, he would have died by now. "It’s good that you were there to be." the music is at least as important to me as the "lyrics." a "you" can mean many things. I love writing songs. "When I set out, I was 16. And at 37, here I am." 9/10

P.S.: this EP is for me a cousin, or a half-sister of the Nino from Vienna production "Adria" from 2016. they are somehow related, although different in character, behavior, and appearance.
