In 2026, The Dublin Legends will embark on their farewell tour. The end of a legendary era is drawing closer. Dear friends and Irish music lovers: With classics like "Whiskey In The Jar," "Seven Drunken Nights," and "The Irish Rover," my boys still have a lot to offer after so many years! In 1980, there was an Irish boom, and bands like The Chieftains, Clannad, and especially THE DUBLINERS became stars, with MILICA bringing them to Austria on tour every year! For the first time in 1980 at the Celtic Festival at the Vienna Ice Skating Club and in 1981 at the Vienna Folk Festival on the Danube Island (which later became the Danube Island Festival). They performed at that time in their original lineup: Barney McKenna, John Sheahan, Ronnie Drew, and Luke Kelly. From then on, they thrilled thousands of fans in Austria year after year. The groundwork for a very vibrant folk scene was laid!

When The Dublin Legends take the stage, you feel as if you are sitting in an Irish pub within minutes. You can feel the beating heart of Ireland; stories about sailors are shared, fiery romances and unrequited loves are sung about, and all that's missing is a cool Guinness in hand.
