Alexander Veljanov is the unmistakable voice of 'Deine Lakaien'. For nearly four decades, they have shaped the national and international music scene in the tension between avant-garde and dark wave. Since 1998, Veljanov has also been pursuing a solo career, characterized by a new, distinctive sound. His poetic charm and the captivating resonance of his voice remain, underscored by lyrics about love, devotion, and transience. With his three very different studio albums, the frontman repeatedly demonstrates that he cannot be pinned down musically, using this music project as a playground for his voice and a musical expression outside the Lakaien cosmos. He is currently in the process of working with his band on a new album set to be released in 2026. In addition to new songs and a selection from the three solo albums, the program will also feature a few pieces from Deine Lakaien.
