"100 YEARS OF SAMMY DAVIS JR." MICHAEL SEIDA has been honoring his "all-around entertainer role model - SAMMY DAVIS JR." since the beginning of his own career. And now, for a memorable evening, in celebration of his 100th birthday. He sings, dances, and shares stories from the life of the "Greatest Entertainer of his Time," who, at the tender age of 4 in 1929, was destined to be a variety artist after taking his first steps in show business. It was a colorful life, from tap dancer to singer, to impressionist, comedian, and storyteller live on stage, all the way to Hollywood and Las Vegas, where he was part of the legendary Rat Pack alongside FRANK SINATRA & DEAN MARTIN. In the early 70s, he enjoyed world tours that took him to Vienna's Konzerthaus and the Wiener Stadthalle. Sammy traveled and captivated audiences: "All over the world." He was a committed activist and always stood up against the injustice of racial discrimination, even marching alongside DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, with over a hundred thousand people, to make his statement in Washington… He was married twice, a father of three, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather, an idol and inspiration for entertainers and dancers, from GREGORY HINES, PRINCE to MICHAEL JACKSON, and of course, to Simmering, for MICHAEL SEIDA. FRANK SINATRA summed it up: "SAMMY, I knew you were something special, but I didn’t know you would be world-class in everything. But you did it all. Achieved everything. You are my brother, and I love you." Experience an evening filled with music, emotion, excellent entertainment, and the magic of the old times.
