Once again, judgment is to be held over sinful humanity, and the angry God therefore calls a meeting in which Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Devil participate. The Almighty wants to put an end to it and completely eradicate his wayward creation from the Earth. For the sake of order, he wishes to hear the opinions of the others, even though the apocalypse has already become his fixed idea. Jesus is, of course, the advocate for humanity, but Satan is also presented as their defender, for "who could defend evil better than evil itself?" The Holy Spirit is just as disgusted as the Lord, having unsuccessfully tried for countless years to enlighten the inhabitants of Earth. A long debate ensues, which seems to yield no results—until finally, Mary asserts herself, having been excluded from the divine assembly and repeatedly rejected by God. She points not only to the mistakes that God, as a role model for humanity, has made but also tries to convince Him, along with Jesus, that humanity must henceforth stand on its own two feet. In her opinion, the solution is not the annihilation of humanity, but rather the withdrawal of the Holy One. Not entirely in agreement, as it would render Him unnecessary, God decides to postpone the meeting to the following day and, if necessary, to the next and, if it should be, until all eternity.
