The concert of Cem Erdost İleri and his friends begins from the place where the folk poet Âşık Mahzuni Şerif said, “I entered my own book and hid.” Then, the pages of that book are slowly turned together with the audience. The artist, who performs works in the genres of folk music, Anatolian folk songs, and original music styles, offers the audience a sound world that is both familiar and new by blending traditional melodies with modern tones.

When asked, “When did this journey begin?” he describes the time as follows: “In the spirits of the primordial, in the tablet of the heart...” He continues his musical exploration, which he has shared for years on the internet and in personal albums, with new layers of sound accompanied by Olcay Bozkurt’s guitar and Sitar Sertaç Şanlı’s percussion. He dances around familiar melodies and lyrics, reinterpreting the tunes we know with different tones and sounds, blowing his unique voice into the ears of the audience in entirely different modes.
