CONCERT & READING klang_sprachen Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra InnStrumenti The interdisciplinary event series klang_sprachen intertwines contemporary music and poetry and celebrates its 10th edition. For the anniversary of this innovative cooperation project of the Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra InnStrumenti with the Poetry Festival W:ORTE, the ÖGZM, the Bludenz Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture of all kinds, and the Vorarlberg State Library, the internationally renowned and multiple award-winning author José Oliver has been invited to read from a selection of his works. His inspiring texts serve as the starting point for premieres by young composers Anto Sophia Manhartsberger and Nava Hemyari, as well as the native Vorarlberger Thomas Cornelius Desi, and a piece by Gunter Schneider, who also hails from Vorarlberg. The framework for this concert evening includes two orchestral pieces by Klex Wolf, who has significantly shaped this concert format. The compositions and the texts presented by the poet merge, blurring the boundaries between reading and concert. It is both or something entirely new, as language gains new perspectives through the fresh sonic context.
