D'Pinzgadoggln
As the name suggests, this group hails from the beautiful Pinzgau region in Salzburg. It originated in 2012 when Michael and Hannes intensified their accordion playing together. With the addition of Katharina and Martin, the ensemble finally found its complete lineup. They perform in two instrumental formations: as an accordion duo with guitar and double bass, as well as in the combination of accordion–hammered dulcimer–guitar–double bass. The name came about when Katharina and Michael coincidentally attended the same "Pinzgadoggln sewing course." It quickly became clear: D'Pinzgadoggln – not only a valuable product of traditional craftsmanship but now also the name of a folk music ensemble with characteristic, high-quality sounds.
