Under this slogan, the Altenmarkt Summer Festival has been celebrated for over half a century. The Struckerschützen, traditional music, and the fire brigade bring smiles to the faces of young and old alike year after year. For three days, the festival grounds in Altenmarkt transform into the Salzburg hotspot for joy of life.

On Friday, a festive parade through the village is followed by an honorary salute and the tapping of the beer keg in the tent. Live music creates a unique atmosphere that caters to the tastes of all generations. Culinary offerings range from freshly prepared chicken to refreshing soft ice cream. In addition to traditional beer enjoyment, the bar becomes lively late into the night, and friends of Austrian wines can find high-quality selections at the dedicated wine bar. Every year, the extensive supporting program, featuring a shooting range and amusement rides, also delights the youngest visitors. Even safe transportation home is taken care of, with free shuttle buses running to the surrounding communities late into the night.
