AU-ROCK Festival 2026

Art / Culture Association AU Kirchberg/Wechsel is hosting the first AU – ROCK Festival 2026 on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The culture of the Feistritztal will be enriched with rock and punk music.
7:00 PM: The band BREAKDOWN, featuring singer and guitarist Christian Hadler, brings the spirit of classic Americana and Heartland Rock to the stage.
8:00 PM: The band THE CATES from Gloggnitz rocks with cover songs in the realm of punk rock, radiating positive attitude and good vibes. Hey! Ho! Let’s Go!
9:00 PM: The band MOTORCITY EXPRESS, a home game for the two Kirchberg locals Herbert (guitar) and Peter Ringhofer (drums). Inspired by the rock band MC5 from Michigan/USA, this Austrian band reinterprets the music of this legendary punk rock band and its brilliant musicians from the 1960s and 70s in a contemporary way.
Music Style: Garage Rock, Blues Rock.
Festival admission: €20 in advance, €23 at the door.
