ON THE TRAILS OF SMUGGLERS & PACKERS
Experience an impressive hike full of history and alpine beauty. We will first take a comfortable taxi to the Krimmler Tauernhaus – the starting point of a tour that was once used by smugglers and packers.
Together, we will hike towards Italy, passing the Peace Grove, and continue to the idyllic Windbachalm. Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, we will follow historical paths through the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Afterwards, the path leads us back to the Krimmler Tauernhaus, where we can reflect on our impressions during a cozy break. To conclude, the taxi will take us comfortably back to Krimml.
This is a varied tour for everyone who wants to combine movement, history, and enjoyment of nature. Registration: by Tuesday 5:00 PM at the Krimml Tourist Office, Tel. +43 6564 7239 0
Meeting point: 8:30 AM at the Krimml Tourist Office
Return: approx. 4:00 PM
Cost: € 22.00 transfer per person (round trip to Krimmler Tauernhaus) Participation in the hike is free with the KrimmlCard, otherwise € 15.00 per person.
