ELMO NERO was founded in 2022 by Gina Schwarz and Christoph Helm. The following year, the exceptional bassist, composer, and Koller Prize winner, along with the guitarist who masterfully blends various styles on his instrument, released a debut album that was enthusiastically received by both critics and audiences. Since 2025, Chris Parker has been on drums, perfectly complementing the band's sound with his multifaceted and tasteful playing. The second studio album, set to be released in 2026, promises to deliver another strong statement filled with musical surprises.
