Little Red Riding Hood at the Tower

Little Red Riding Hood at the Tower is an interactive theater experience for children and adults, where the audience becomes part of the story. Equipped with headphones, visitors venture into the nature surrounding Tower 20 at Pöstlingberg in Linz – a historic site high above the city, where forest, landscape, and history come together to create an extraordinary outdoor theater space.

What makes this theater experience special: The audience is divided into three groups. Each group is accompanied by one of the characters – Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, or the Grandmother – on their own path through the forest. Each character tells the story from their unique perspective. Thus, the fairy tale unfolds simultaneously in three versions, which only converge at the end. Then, everyone must come together to discuss what really happened – or whether there is more than one truth.

Along the way, visitors actively engage with the unfolding events in a joyful and playful manner. They take on creative and movement-rich tasks, dance, paint, tell stories, search, and find – becoming co-players in the performance. In between, there is fresh fruit to snack on. The event is based on a theater production by the famous Teatar Poco Loco (Croatia) and is organized in cooperation with the RedSapata Cultural Initiative and Tower 20.
