The "Theatergruppe Pienkenhof" presents the fable "Reineke Fuchs"
"When today one condemns cunning and deceit, / Reineke, the fox, is their image." Reineke, the clever fox, has been up to his crafty antics in the world of animal fables since ancient times. He always outsmarts the more powerful, larger, and stronger opponents, turns them upside down, and yet escapes their revenge. Whether it’s the vain and power-hungry lion, the selfish wolf, the gluttonous bear, or the fearful hare – Reineke knows the weaknesses of his adversaries and exploits them to his own advantage. Despite repeated summons and convictions, he always manages to literally pull his neck out of the noose. But when he is finally to be put on trial, his luck is put to a hard test... A fable perfectly suited for a joyful adaptation using the means of comedy, puppetry, and music.
