Super Moto - National Championship

Austria is currently the reigning team world champion and has a FIM individual world champion in Lukas Höllbacher. It's high time to bring this top sport back to Murtal! Driven Events is bringing the strong Austrian national championship and the borderland cup with international participants to the FahrAktivZentrum in Fohnsdorf for the first time. The racetrack, visible from the former mine, has recently made a name for itself, among other things, by hosting a rally national championship event. With the season opener on the weekend of May 1st, the SUPERMOTO in Fohnsdorf, the motorcycle season can begin. More at www.drivenevents.at

Supermoto is one of the most spectacular motorsport disciplines in the world. The riders compete against each other on racetracks that combine asphalt, off-road sections, and jumps, guaranteeing action. Up to 30 participants start simultaneously. Supermoto events are true crowd magnets and have an enthusiastic fan base. Superstars and local heroes are celebrated alike. Characteristic features include spectacular drift angles, late braking maneuvers, and close duels, often leading to overtaking maneuvers.
