Valentine's Summer Feeling - Melodia

The Cultural Department of St. Valentin invites you to the last event of the "Valentiner Summer Feeling" on August 7, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The event will take place in the courtyard of the primary school/main square in St. Valentin, almost regardless of the weather. Admission is free!

The music group MELODIA was founded after the war, in the 1940s. In 1946, enthusiastic musicians such as Heinrich Untersmayr, Walter Postl, Franz Grubbauer, and Franz Rockenschaub came together to dedicate themselves to swing, jazz, pop, dance, and entertainment music. They organized balls, public and private celebrations and events, and accompanied many couples on their wedding day. "The MELODIA" has become a cult orchestra in the region.

Now, younger generations have taken over the musical heritage and continue to bring it to life. In the new formation, alongside the preservation of tradition, the repertoire is also harmoniously expanded with rock and pop classics.

At the "VALENTINER SOMMERGFÜHL," there is once again the opportunity to present the music of MELODIA-NOVA to a broader audience.
